Book Confessions #2 - Judging a Book By Its Cover

I'm sure we have all heard of the phrase “Don't judge a book by it's cover.” It's a common phrase that people say. But, let’s face it we all do it anyway. Don't deny it. There's something in book covers that intrigue us whether it be the color, the design, or the texture. It's there. The cover influences our choices. Many times it's why we choose the book. The very first thing you see is the cover and it just pulls you into a mesmerizing spell. It calls out “Read Me” “Read Me, Maryum.” Of course, I'm going to pick it up and read the back or inside cover to see what it's all about. I think we should have a moment of silence for the artists who beautifully put together the cover. Thank you artists out there for helping us decide.
